Sand Rail Building Plan

a habitable planet: our!

Last week we dealt with the Rosetta probe and his voyage in search of the origins of our solar system. The road has three Rosetta gravitational encounters with the Earth, the last of which occurred on November 13: its closest point approximately coincided with the island of Java, in Indonesia, "touched" a 2500 km level. From this privileged position, the spacecraft took some stunning photos of our little blue planet.

Vista beauty of these images, we decided to continue in the wake of last post and re-propose, through the photo shoot produced by Rosetta, the silent spectacle of the planet.

Above, a sunlit crescent of Earth: we recognize the South America and Antarctica.
Below, an animation shows the images taken by Rosetta, within 24 hours, during its approach to Earth.

Top, our planet shrouded in thick clouds.
